Palawan, also known as the “last frontier” is one of the top tourist destinations in the Philippines. Its rich marine life, white-sand beaches, crystal clear waters and lush green mountains has attracted thousands of tourists from all over the world. Thus, getting a Palawan Package is surely something you will never regret.
How to Get to Palawan
There are various ways to get to the province. You can get to Puerto Princesa, the capital of Palawan by plane from Manila or Cebu, or by boat from Manila to Puerto Princesa. There are also commercial flights available for Coron. If you’re going to El Nido, you’d have to pass by Puerto Princesa and travel by land for about 5 hours. You may also opt to take a chartered flight from Manila to El Nido via Island Transvoyager Incorporated (ITI).
You can ask your travel agent to include airfare with your Palawan package so you won’t have to arrange this yourself.
Puerto Princesa, the Green Capital of Palawan
If it is your first time to get a Palawan Package, you’d be glad to know that Puerto Princesa is a bustling city. Here, you’d easily find ATM’s and banks. You’d even be able to use your credit card in many establishments. However, this is not the case in other towns. In El Nido, it would be wise to bring cash with you as there are no ATMs in town.
You’ll also find the underground river in Puerto Princesa. This 8.2-kilometer Underground River has been included in UNESCO’s World Heritage list and has been officially chosen on January 28, 2012 as one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature.
El Nido, Premiere Island Hopping Destination in Palawan
When it comes to world-class resort destinations, El Nido is at the top of anyone’s list. The town has its own airport that will take tourists directly to the heavenly beaches. If you love white sand beaches, then you should consider getting a Palawan package for El Nido.
Coron, Scuba Diving Hot Spot
Scuba diving is a popular activity among tourists in Palawan. Most divers prefer to visit Coron because of the Japanese shipwrecks found in the area. You’ll also find wonderful reefs in Coron.
Palawan is a wonderful vacation destination for tourists looking for adventure. It is also a great escape for those who want to have a few days of peace and quiet. Contact Hopping Buddies Travel & Tours for more information on our Palawan packages and tours.
