Here are some popular dive spots in El Nido, Palawan.

Tagbao Island

Tagbao is in the North West of Miniloc Island. You’ll find three reefs between two small islands. As the water is a bit shallow, it is suitable for beginner divers. Corals and crayfish will greet you in Tagbao.

The Wall

Do not be fooled by its name. It is not as threatening as it sounds. The Wall is a 20-minute boat ride off the main island. It hosts a variety of marine life, which makes it is a popular spot for underwater photography. This dive site is also ideal for beginners, but skilled scuba divers will also have a wonderful time at The Wall.

Banayan Point

It is the perfect diving site for professional divers, as the currents are very challenging. You’ll find schools of pelagic fish, such as mackerel, jacks, tuna, and trevally. There are also many corals on the west side of Banayan Point. The best time to dive is between March and June. The eastern side of the point, however, offers great diving experience all year round.

Inbogal Point

This is the perfect spot to find different kinds of tropical fish and reefs. Inbogal Point in El Nido, Palawan features a sandy slope with corals and gorgonians. Similar to Banayan Point, you’ll find tunas, mackerels and jacks in the area. What makes this dive site popular, is that you’ll find Pomacanthus annularis, a unique species of angelfish at Inbogal Point. You can only find this species in two dive sites in Palawan.

Biet Point

Biet Point is home to cuttlefish, squid, octopus, crabs, shrimp, lobsters and nudibranchs. The underwater conditions here are usually calm. With a depth of up to 21 meters, Biet Point is ideal for all types of divers.
